As a leader, the AR Manager will provide direct oversight of the Accounts Receivable team and processes. You will troubleshoot collection issues relating to delinquent invoices and unauthorized deductions and responsible for customer and credit management. This role supports the Accounts Receivable team with other escalated or system related issues. The AR Manager is encouraged to contribute to the positive and engaging culture and will maintain an established presence in the Eugene, Oregon office.

Role Responsibilities:
People Management
- Provide leadership, support, and monitor priorities of the AR team
- Assist in management functions, including hiring, evaluating performance coaching, people development, cross training, succession planning, as well as annual reviews
Process Management
- New customer onboarding and implementation
- AR aging and credit management oversight
- TradeSpend/Deduction oversight
- Allowance for bad debt management
- EDI Management
- Troubleshoot issues in areas of responsibility
- Provide support with creating, documenting, maintaining, and optimizing various AR processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Effectively partner across all areas and functions of the business as needed
- Work with trade marketing team in collaboration with trade spend and accounting for deductions
- Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5 years AR experience (CPG experience preferred)
- 3 years preferred experience managing people and teams
- General knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Data analysis, reporting, problem solving
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and reports utilizing multiple data sources
- Improve workflow processes
- Demonstrate professional and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Resolve problems in a unique and challenging customer environment
