Job Summary
You will be responsible for managing a fleet of 25-50 trucks and leading a team of to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in optimizing fleet performance, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily performance of a fleet of 25-50 trucks.
• Lead and supervise a team of drivers, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
• Ensure all fleet activities comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep the fleet in optimal condition.
• Analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel efficiency and delivery timeliness.
• Address driver concerns, providing necessary support to ensure successful deliveries.
• Manage fleet-related budgets, control operational costs, and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Coordinate route planning and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement improvements in fleet operations and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet management in the trucking, construction industry or heavy industrial.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing dispatch operations and a team of drivers.
• Current CDL license preferred.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with fleet management technology and software.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and operational costs effectively.
