Headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, the Company serves customers in the automotive, recreational vehicle, aerospace, military, marine and industrial/panel markets through a growing nationwide network of 35 distribution centers. Industrial Finishes’ customers are fun! They build award-winning hot rods, refinish aircraft and manage technically-sophisticated production facilities.

The eCommerce Manager will oversee the look, feel and design of the website, working closely with web design agencies and in-house sales, marketing, and operations teams. Content development includes product videos, social media integration and anything that can further improve the user experience.

  

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Responsibility for maintenance and promotion of our soon-to-be-launched e-commerce website that focuses on the buying, trading and selling of Industrial Finishes products.
  • Content development
  • Work with others on the graphic design of the website
  • Security oversite
  • Drive visitor conversion rates
  • Basic website maintenance
  • Monitor web analytics and internal data sources
  • Design and execute development roadmaps
  • Budget effectively
  • Work closely with web development and technical teams
  • Prepare reports and analyze conversion numbers
  • Develop SEO/PPC Strategy/Marketing Plans
  • Quality control and assurance
  • Develop schedules and timescales for product additions, promotions and campaigns

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of:

  • Principles and practices of e-commerce
  • General knowledge of web design platforms
  • General knowledge of creative suites such as Adobe Photoshop

Skills to:

  • Maintain functionality and operation of e-commerce website
  • Analyze data and present results
  • Identify sales trends and craft product promotions
  • Ensure timely and accurate product shipments

Ability to:

  • Generate accurate reports;
  • Take ownership & proactively work to improve processes following site launch;
  • To juggle multiple responsibilities at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail;
  • Be honest and ethical;
  • Accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations;

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree or similar
