As the Accounting Manager, you will have a wide range of responsibilities exercising discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance including but not limited to performing month-end close, reconciliation of accounts, preparing financial statements, and other duties as needed to support the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete a wide range of month-end close-related responsibilities
• Weekly payroll completion for 75-100 employees
• Prepare general ledger entries with proper records and files
• Regularly maintain detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
• Prepare documentation for annual audit performed by an external accounting firm
• Assist with job costing/accounting
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and company procedures
• Perform ad-hoc research and projects as needed.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum Experience: 5+ years previous Accounting or Finance preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Minimum Qualifications and CORE Competencies

• Intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills
• Must have strong communication skills and be highly deadline and detail oriented
• Adept at handling multiple projects and deliverable simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement and evolution
