As Director of Marketing, you will lead the Company’s marketing strategy and drive the work that brings it to life. This role spans brand management, e-commerce, product development, content, agency management, consumer engagement, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. It is a true leader-doer role, requiring someone who can set direction, make decisions, align resources, and personally execute to move work forward.You will work closely with the CEO and be on the leadership team to connect marketing priorities to broader Company goals. This role is ideal for someone who can think strategically, work through details, use AI, data,and emerging tools to improve results, and lead important initiatives from concept through execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the evaluation, development, communication, and implementation of the Company’s marketing plans, strategies, and tactics.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget, forecasts, and timelines, ensuring resources are aligned with strategic priorities.
• Partner closely with the CEO, communicating frequently and adjusting strategies and tactics to support the company’s vision and objectives.
• Provide marketing leadership and perspective in setting overall Company strategy and key objectives.
• Lead e-commerce marketing initiatives, including Amazon agency management, forecasting, timelines,product availability coordination, pricing collaboration, profitability analysis, and growth opportunities across Amazon, Walmart.com, and other strategic e-commerce channels.
• Manage marketing agency relationships and oversee paid media, search engine optimization, AI-drivensearch and discovery, influencer marketing, and related digital initiatives.
• Oversee the Company DTC website, ensuring accurate content and a strong consumer experience.
• Review and approve new marketing content, including digital advertising, organic social content, and emailmarketing initiatives.
• Support the Sales team with marketing assets and programs that strengthen selling efforts.
• Assist the CEO with the new product development process from ideation through product formulation.
• Oversee packaging design and development.
• Apply regulatory information to help ensure marketing communications are compliant.
• Work with patent and trademark attorneys to ensure Quantum ownership of Intellectual Property.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on Company strategy, priorities, and execution.
• Use AI as a daily tool to improve marketing speed, quality, and insight, including content development,consumer and competitive research, campaign analysis, workflow improvement, and testing new tools that strengthen marketing performance.
• Participate actively in leadership meetings, strategic planning, cross-functional projects, and hiring for key positions.
• Manage and develop the Senior Marketing Coordinator through clear direction, work review, coaching, and professional growth opportunities.
EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, with a proven record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
• Understanding of consumer-packaged goods preferred.
• Understanding of marketing and the needs of different sales and distribution channels.
• Experience leading projects and managing people, agencies, budgets, priorities, and timelines.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Copilot, and AI-enabled marketing tools, with the ability to apply technology thoughtfully and practically to improve search visibility, content quality, consumer insights, productivity, and marketing performance.
