Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the production changeover on all JPL machines (JIM, Tape, WEB)
• Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues on all JPL equipment
• Preventative Maintenance inspections on all JPL equipment
• Minor repairs to the JPL building and forklifts
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC issues
• Assign tasks to mechanic B and/or C when repairing, troubleshooting, or changing over JPL equipment
• Keeps the maintenance shop organized and clean
• All other duties as assigned by the plant supervisor

Physical Requirements (See second page for further details):

• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs and up to 130lbs with assistance
• Requires getting under and on top of equipment to occasionally make repairs.
• Requires working in an unconditioned environment
